Q. What is hypnosis?
A. It is a natural state of focused concentration where selective thinking is employed. This is similar to daydreaming or focusing on something so intently we find ourselves pulling our car into our driveway having forgotten driving the past few miles.
Q. Can the hypnotist control me?
A. Absolutely not. The client isn't asleep and therefore is aware of what is happening, what they are saying and what is being said at all times. Success depends upon the hypnotist and client forming a strong, trusting team.
Q. Are there people who cannot be hypnotized?
A. Only those who don't wish to be hypnotized.
Q. Is the state of hypnosis natural?
A. Yes. In fact, we each go through a hypnotic stage every night as we fall asleep.
Q. What makes your services different?
A. In addition to using suggestions and guided imagery, I also use deeper hypnosis including regression to find the cause of the issue at hand. Once the cause is determined and re-processed, suggestions are more powerful. I also employ NLP techniques to strengthen and expand on traditional hypnosis.
Q. How many sessions are required to achieve my goal?
A. This, of course, depends upon the goal and the person, but a good rule of thumb is 3-6 sessions.
Q. Can a person become "stuck" in hypnosis?
A. No.
Q. Is past life regression real?
A. It may or may not be. I use it because it often yields powerful and positive results for my clients.
Q. What can I use hypnosis for?
A. Anything you use your mind for. This is a powerful modality for positive change that returns personal power to the individual.
Q. Can my sessions be conducted remotely via Skype?
A. Yes.
Q. How do I get more questions answered or book a session?
A. Call Peter at 716-628-9833.
